Our property auctions are a proven way to buy and sell property, especially when clarity and timing are important. They’re often used if a traditional sale is less suitable, or where everyone involved wants a clear outcome within a set timeframe.

Auctions are suitable for all kinds of property, from homes and land to development sites and commercial buildings. They suit individual sellers just as well as businesses and professional clients and remove the uncertainty that comes with open-ended negotiations.

01 Appraisal

The process begins with a free, no-obligation appraisal. We’ll assess your property, discuss the market and advise on whether auction will achieve the best outcome.

02 Guide and reserve price

We’ll work with you to set a realistic reserve price and guide price. The reserve is the minimum you’re willing to accept, while the guide is set to encourage interest and competitive bidding.

03 Legal pack

A legal pack with information for buyers is prepared in advance, either by our recommended panel of experienced solicitors or your own solicitor if you’d prefer.

04 Catalogue launch

Your property is listed in our online auction catalogue with professional photography and a virtual tour, and advertised on Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket.

05 Marketing and viewings

Viewings are arranged and managed by our team before the auction takes place. We’ll keep you updated on interest and feedback.

06 Reserve price review

As interest builds, we’ll review the level of demand and advise whether the reserve price remains right for the market.

07 Auction day

The online auction runs over two days and closes in the evening on the final day, with live bidding and support available throughout.

08 Completion

Contracts are exchanged at the end of the auction, with completion typically taking place within just 28 days.
